Earth Hour Update

With only 20 days to go, more than 900 cities are pledging to turn out their lights on March 28th to take action and make a commitment to helping preserve our Planet Earth.

Teach kids about the importance of preserving our planet and all its creatures. Explain that they can be part of the climate change solution by writing their congressperson, senator or the President and asking for action on this important issue. The race to develop low-carbon energy in time to stop global warming has begun, and a new Discovery Channel special brings cutting-edge green energy technologies to life as never before. Join the Earth Hour Team in watching the one-hour world premiere of Earth: The Sequel, Wednesday, March 11, at 10:00pm Eastern on the Discovery Channel (check local listings).
